I just got insomnia about 2 weeks ago and so my sleeping patterns got mixed up. I get tired around 3 in the afternoon and when I got home to fall asleep I wake up at 12 and then I can't fall back asleep in the early mornings. I need some ways of how to make yourself not sleepy so I don't fall asleep at 4 but instead at 10. Anyways?

When you get home, instead of sitting (or lying) down, go out and take a 15 or 20 minute walk. It will help you get your second wind. Then make sure you don't go to sleep until you're ready to go to bed for the night, preferably fairly early (like 8-9pm). Once you get a really good nights sleep it should help you get back on track.

It probably goes without saying, but I would also make sure to lay off any sugar and caffiene within 4-5 hours of bedtime.

or just smoke a fat joint, than just chill and eat for like an hour or two and you'll pass out

Try this for a fortnight –

1>Wake up before 7am and go for an hour brisk walk
2> Drink adequate amounts of water during the day
3> Do a 15mins exercise with bar bells or elastic band during the evening; make sure you sweat a little
4> Sleep before 10pm and have at least 8hrs of uninterrupted sleep

If above doesnt work, go seekmedical advice, as you might be lacking in some vitamins/minerals in your system. Good luck!
